Monitoring & Evaluation
All work carried out by the paid Advocates is internally monitored by the Network and this gives extremely useful information about who the Network is reaching and identifies gaps. Two specific gaps were identified in the past using this method which showed clearly that the Network needed to provide specialist advocates for both Black and Minority Ethnic Communities and for Older People with Mental Health Problems.
The process also provides information about the issues which come up most commonly for service users.
A self completion evaluation form is also given to clients for them to express their views about Invicta Advocacy Network.
In addition, all Volunteer Advocacy partnerships are regularly reviewed and internal analysis by age, gender, ethnic origin and locality is undertaken annually.
